HR Talent & Compliance Coordinator (Temporary Part-Time)

About the Position:

The HR Talent & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for providing day-to-day administration and customer service within various areas of Human Resources including but not limited to human resource recruiting and compliance with policies, processes, and procedures. Ability to motivate managers and staff to meet or exceed compliance standards by explaining internal requirements. Proactive in meeting deadlines and escalating areas of non-compliance. Excellent verbal and written communication with an emphasis on collaborative customer service. Ability to navigate software, reports, and analyze data. Recruiting best-in-class talent by collaborating with internal managers to source and place candidates who align with Mountainside culture and meet the essential functions of any role. 

Schedule:

Part-Time Schedule, Approximately 16-24 hours per week

Your Role:

  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
  • Provide administrative support in the recruitment of all roles, ensuring recruiting support for managers.
  • Review daily recruiting reports, looking for areas of opportunity, driving engagement internally and externally.
  • Maintain the LinkedIn and Indeed company and careers page; making updates as necessary to attract passive candidates and increase traffic / followers to our pages.
  • Pull reports from system and enter KPI data in tracker according to instructions.
  • Researches, extracts, compiles and analyzes basic information from known and available sources.
  • Maintain Human Resources recordkeeping related to new hires, employee reviews, promotions, transfers, separations and exit interviews.
  • Audit employee files and employment related documentation and policies ensuring all personnel files are following Federal, State and CARF requirements (credentials, licenses, trainings, and certifications).
  • Build pipelines by fostering relationships with managers and candidates to understand needs, create networks, foster trust, and long term engagement.
  • Pitch jobs to candidates focusing on features, benefits, and the unique selling points to persuade the candidate that the position is an ideal fit.
  • Use negotiation to help manage expectations and align both parties’ interests.
  • Schedule interviews with candidates and book calendar invites for the team.
  • Maintain compliance with human resources policies, practices, records, and files in accordance with stated corporate objectives and state and federal legal requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date HR policies and procedure documents.
  • Use tracker to ensure yearly requirements are met for flu, TB screening, medical and driver checks, CPR, licensing data, new hire, and yearly performance documentation.
  • Maintains the tracking of the corporate training, certification and education program
  • Pulls and compares reports for data or compliance errors, reaching out to collaborators (other departments, information systems, software representatives or liaisons) to troubleshoot, document, and track issues.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and 2 years’ experience in Human Resources or related field OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Experience working as an administrative or executive assistant, providing tech support and/or working with HRIS software as an administrator are all highly preferred.
  • Must have basic computer skills including competence in software applications such as Microsoft Office suite, Adobe and use of internet applications and in using and/or connecting wireless computer hardware, the ability to project to remote devices, etc.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as necessary.
  • Awareness and sensitivity to addiction, socioeconomics and strong cultural competency.
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent mediation skills required

Compensation:

The base rate of pay for this position is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
