Clinical Program Manager, Outpatient Services, LCSW, LPC, LMFT

About the Position: The Program Manager, Outpatient Services is responsible for meeting the expectations of Clinical Counselor to include: collaborate with a multi-disciplinary treatment team to create an individualized recovery experience that incorporates the body, mind and spirit of each clientProvide individual and group therapy sessions and facilitate treatment groupsCoordinate care with external providers and community such as: family members, primary care physicians, psychiatrists, outpatient programs, legal aids, family interventionists, university administrative staff, and employee assistance program representatives. In addition, model viable brief treatment and case management strategies to clinical team and provide support and supervision to the outpatient team in appropriate fashion.

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday 9:30am - 6:00pm, Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm

Your Role:

  • Comply with existing policy and procedures and Business Code of Conduct. 
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all department responsibilities with the ability to perform each task.
  • Plan and oversee all clinical care or administrative operations within the programs assigned.
  • Devise strategies and participate in the development of long-range planning, quality improvement and assurance efforts per company standards for best in class service and continuous growth.
  • Assume responsibility of budgeting and resourcing.
  • Work with administrative assistant to assign cases and create schedules for all employees.
  • Coordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedback while ensuring that they are providing quality and comprehensive care to clients and other stakeholders based on program policies and procedures.
  • Provide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous development through the use of SMART goals.
  • Evaluate performance and develop employee performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Audit clinical charts and monitor overall compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies, accreditation standards and quality standards.
  • Assist with clinical caseload and group coverage as needed.
  • Maintain department metrics and quality assurance reports to submit when needed.
  • Respond to on-call and after hour needs.
  • Comply with all federal, state and accreditation regulatory requirements.

Education and Qualifications 

  • Graduate Degree in related field - Required
  • Current licensure in CT (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC) - Required
  • Knowledge and experience in the provision of evidence based integrative care.
  • Minimum three years’ experience/knowledge in substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders integrated treatment. 

 Skills and Abilities  

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Must have basic computer skills including competence in software applications such as Microsoft Office suite, Adobe and use of internet applications
  • Awareness and sensitivity to addiction, socioeconomics and strong cultural competency.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills 

Compensation:
