Transportation Coordinator (Per Diem)

About the Position:
Our primary focus is on picking up new clients needing treatment. We also handle client appointments, hospital transports, discharges and daily errands for Mountainside.
Schedule:
As needed (on call) - Days, Nights, Weekends
Your Role:
- Must drive safely and without incident
- Follow relevant safety regulations and state laws governing vehicle operation and ensure that passengers follow safety regulations.
- Test vehicle equipment such as lights, brakes, horns or windshield wipers, to ensure proper operation.
- Coordinate with Transportation team and Admissions team to arrange pickup and transport of new admissions, current clients or groups on an as-need or scheduled basis.
- Complete documentation as it relates to the experience with client
- Provide passengers with assistance entering and exiting vehicles and help them with any luggage.
- Complete accident reports when necessary.
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation of vehicle use and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Current, valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Experience working in the area of customer service preferred but not required
- Ability to safely operate vehicles and transport passengers
- Familiarity with local roads, highways and their laws
- Provide weekly schedule of availability.
- Flexible - Available to work nights and weekends.
Compensation:
The base rate of pay for this position is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
