The Role

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

The Recruitment Coordinator reporting into the Manager, Recruitment will assist in all recruitment and HR activities as needed maintaining confidentially and discretion at all times.  Other duties include but are not limited to:

  • Schedules interviews using Gmail Calendar and other scheduling tools.
  • Conducts reference and background screening, checking results for accuracy.
  • Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • May provide initial screening to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements.
  • Arranges travel and lodging for applicants, if necessary.
  • Researches, analyzes, prepares and presents data and statistics.
  • Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Project manage special assignments.

Education/Experience:

  • 2 years + experience leading or assisting recruiting in a corporate environment.
  • Experience using a HRIS / ATS system, preferably Greenhouse
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter would be an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • The ability to effectively communicate to all levels from junior employee to President.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Critical Evaluation.
  • Ethical Practice.
  • Ability to think on your feet.
  • Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to sit for prolonged period of time and view computer screen.

 

Equipment/Software Used:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets)
  • Greenhouse ATS
  • LinkedIn Recruiter – preferred.
  • ADP – preferred.
