The Role
Job Summary & Responsibilities:
The Account Director, Events & Experiential Marketing (salaried, full time, regular) is a dynamic professional who will be responsible for managing experiential and event experiences focusing on the strategy and creative planning. Essential duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Strategize, develop, and create experiential marketing event lead initiatives for our advertisers and client campaigns, owned and operated events and potential partnership opportunities
- Collaborate with the internal departments to create a full 360 program – with the event as the heartbeat – including but not limited to: marketing, social media, PR, digital, editorial and campaign management
- Own the planning and execution of assigned projects, events and experiences including planning, developing decks and creative briefs, managing creative development and delivery
- Evaluate the event and experiential marketing space for new and refreshing activation ideas, content creators, various touchpoints, fabrication shops and branded environments
- Assist the team with vendor, venue agency and client related communication
- Assist with the management production, logistics, and execute aligning against contracts & sold projects
- Oversee project timelines to ensure all parties actively makes timely decisions
- Support the Vice President, Experiential Marketing and Events with various tasks
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position could include supervising one or more employees, where applicable
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, or Communications preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in experiential marketing, with passion for live events and event production.
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing for digital products and services preferred, ideally for an automotive and/or entertainment brand.
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Creative, outside the box thinker, collaborator and big picture ideator
- Process oriented and must possess a general understanding of project management & event methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and continuously drive improvement.
- Strong organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple layers of management, keeping stakeholders well-informed on a regular cadence.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
- Proactive and takes initiative to resolve issues and communicates progress.
- Must be able to excel and work in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to sit for prolonged period of time and view computer screen.
- The ability to travel at on-site events and projects multiple times annually.

- Google Suite (i.e. Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
- Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Slack, Smart Sheet, Adobe and Asana
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in an office environment that is well lit and ventilated.
