About the Role

As Senior Product Manager for Consumer reporting to the VP of Product, you will own the end-to-end customer experience and play a critical role in MotoRefi’s mission of transforming consumers’ financial security. You will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, engineering and executive leadership, and will be responsible for managing both strategy and execution across our consumer facing products.

 

Over the next 12 months you will 

  • Lead the reimagining and rebuilding of our consumer web experience, creating moments of delight, removing friction, and increasing conversion
  • Deepen our customer value proposition in auto insurance to help our customers save even more money
  • Unlock increased lead volume by building and launching product experiences integrated with large strategic partners

 

About You

  • You’re a startup pro with extensive direct to consumer experience in ecommerce or two sided marketplaces 
  • You’re a master of the art and science of product, as comfortable with user interviews as as you are running data-driven experiments and analyzing large data sets
  • You’re passionate about delivering value to your customers by improving their financial lives
  • You’re obsessed with making things better and delivering moments of delight
  • You’re a master of balancing strategy and execution, able to synthesize information from multiple sources into a strategic direction while remaining grounded in day to day execution.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understanding the auto finance and refinance markets and passionately advocating for consumers
  • Developing short and long-term strategy to deliver robust and scalable consumer experiences
  • Representing and communicating product strategy to stakeholders
  • Managing prioritization, roadmap, and delivery within your assigned product areas 
  • Developing and prioritizing robust (or scrappy when necessary) testing plans for new features prior to development
  • Ensuring qualitative and quantitative data are available for roadmap planning and decision making
  • Rolling up your sleeves on execution details while steering implementation toward feature goals and objectives
  • Defining and tracking key metrics for product initiatives and features
  • Driving a culture of rapid experimentation
  • Nurturing a creative and collaborative product environment (e.g. leading hackathons and other product-related activities)

Requirements

  • Strong track record of building great B2C products
  • Experience successfully implementing systems and processes that deliver results
  • 4-7 years of product management experience 
  • Experience with agile product development 

 

Bonus Points

  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Foundational design and/or front end engineering skills
  • Early and mid stage startup experience
