ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR
This is a hybrid position, meaning you're empowered to work from home and our local office location.
At this time we are currently only interviewing candidates based in the Chicago, Denver and NYC markets.
As an Account Supervisor at Motive you’ll have the opportunity to manage and lead the integrated day-to-day efforts with key client relationships and accounts. You’ll write briefs, lead creative and partnership initiatives, manage communications, budgets and timelines, collaborate with creative and other internal and external teams, while managing a variety of projects. You’ll be responsible for championing best-in-class work across traditional, retail, promotional, partnerships, experiential and more for some of the biggest brands in the world.
Job Responsibilities:
- Independently manage the day-to-day efforts with key clients, and the day-to-day internal project management flow for high-profile projects for major national brands.
- Serve as key contact for day-to-day projects, managing communication and asset distribution, and serving as the central touch point for questions, strategic guidance and support for internal and client teams.
- Manage a variety of work streams including TVC, events, retail / shopper, POS / POP, digital, partnerships; including creation of timelines, workflows, and budgets.
- Strategically advise clients and develop ideas and solutions that achieve business, marketing and engagement objectives.
- Translate client assignments into meaningful briefs for the creative teams and effectively balance dual expectations of clients and the agency.
- Work with a cross-studio team of art directors, copywriters, experiential leads, digital and social innovators, as well as and other client services teams to ideate and develop concepts for projects and accounts.
- Multi-task and get the work done—on time, within project budgets and exceeding expectations.
- Participate in big idea thinking sessions for the agency.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of, and be conversant in, each client’s business, industry and competitive landscape.
- Foster client relationships that run deep. Step into the role of your client's "go to" lead, managing proactive communications in an inspiring and professional manner.
- Effectively present strategic and creative platforms to internal and external audiences.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience managing integrated (read: a combination of traditional, retail, shopper, digital / social partnerships and promotional) projects and accounts in a fast-paced advertising agency.
- Experience managing several clients/client teams simultaneously.
- Experience creating and managing budgets and timelines for projects covering all of the above.
- Experience crafting big idea briefs, and guiding creative concept and design work forward.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a knack for delivering excellent presentations and building relationships.
- A strong attention to detail and organizational prowess.
- A strong ‘self-starter’ mentality and sense of responsibility.
- A passion for culture (sports is an added bonus!), creativity, and advertising.
- Experience leading and coaching junior team members.
- An excellent reputation for managing up.
