What You'll Be Doing
Lead, support, and deliver strategic insights and recommendations on statistical validation projects regarding scenario-based simulation testing.
Focus on automating simulation processes and gaps, removing manual processes where applicable.
Work with systems and development teams as a key stakeholder for requirements and design documentation of autonomous vehicles and their advanced systems.
Troubleshoot and debug issues from the simulation, and trace failures to correct systems that include AI driving functions, sensor performance, and vehicle response.
Support the development, execution, and analyses of scenario simulation test cases for features validation.
Communicate test results to development teams and management and facilitate resolving of technical issues.
What We're Looking ForEducation:
Education: BS in Engineering, Computer Science or Applied Statistics, or Data Science
Self-starter who is motivated to set and achieve goals and takes initiative to drive ambiguous tasks/projects to completion.
Recent research and technical writing experience.
Prior project management experience.
Experience with probability theory, statistical and inferential reasoning, statistical computing, modeling and its limitations.
Skill in the description, interpretation, exploratory analysis of data by graphical and other means.
Effectively communicate statistics.
Knowledge of ADAS and/or autonomous vehicle engineering concepts.
Comfortable working in fast-paced dynamic projects
Language Skills: Fluent in English required (oral and written).
Proficient in object-oriented programming (Python, or C++).
Experience working in Linux Systems Environments.
Bonus Points (not required)
Education: MS in Engineering, or Statistics, or Data Analyst
Machine learning basics.
Experience in autonomous or complex vehicle engineering projects.
Experience in setup, designing, and executing tests for scenario-based simulation.
Familiar with automotive simulation test methods and tools for SIL and/or HIL (dSPACE tools, prescan, applied intuition)
Knowledge of Automotive Safety Standards like ISO 26262, ISO/PAS 21448 (SOTIF), etc.
Experience with Polarion, Confluence, and JIRA.
Strong technical writing and analysis skills.
Experience in cloud infrastructure setup.
Familiar with Agile work process.
