The Position:

Mosaic is looking for an experienced video professional who will advance our social media marketing strategy and portfolio for our leading brands; Clime, iTranslate, and Robokiller. They will be the first social media video hire as Mosaic Group begins to expand and scale its organic social team and presence. This role will source, cut, edit, and assist in posting original social-first videos to Clime, Robokiller, and iTranslate. These video efforts will work towards building our social media content strategy that will help us increase reach and awareness in our target markets, and deepen community engagement. As an ideal candidate, you’ll bring industry knowledge related to social media video, social management, and brand marketing, as well as a proven track record of delivering relevant, best-in-class content that audiences love. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Work directly with our Senior Social Media Manager to execute our social media go-to-market strategy for Mosaic’s top consumer brands across a select number of social media networks such as TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Own and drive the creation of Mosaic’s social media video content on a daily basis
  • Assist in uploading and distributing social video content across brand social channels
  • Create static graphics for social video thumbnails to use across social
  • Help to lead the ideation and development of a consistent video content calendar each month
  • Partner with Advertising teams to execute user-generated content strategies and roadmaps
  • Create social video content in support of paid social media ads across all social channels
  • Strong ability to integrate and edit video captions to increase accessibility and engagement rates
  • Consistently monitor and report on social video KPIs to effectively measure video performance trends and report on how we are improving those metrics over time
  • Given the nature of this role, we will require at least two days in the NYC office per week  

Skills & Experiences That Will Make You Successful in This Role:

  • 2-3 years of experience in social media video editing in either a newsroom or agency
  • Proven track record of managing and growing social communities through relevant and consistent content video creation
  • Natural ability to keep up with current social media video and cultural trends and translate this into content opportunities across the brands 
  • Experience in video editing. Graphic design experience with Figma knowledge is a plus
  • Experience sourcing video content independently as well as through Getty, AP, Reuters, or Storyful licenses
  • Fast editor and can identify strong performing videos when they see one
  • Expert communicator both internally and externally, written and verbal
  • Ability to curate social video headlines and captions, and suggest relevant hashtags
  • Can identify and integrate strong social SEO into video

The ideal candidate is: 

  • A creative thinker with the ability to test out-of-the-box ideas and solutions
  • Has strong opinions and can move quickly, knowing when to pivot
  • Likes to work hard and have fun, brings a healthy sense of humor to the work that they produce
  • Strong attention to detail, with the willingness to take direction but also work independently
  • A keen eye and strong intuition for high-performing social video
  • Loves social media and knows the tips and tricks to grow and cultivate a great audience
  • Up to date on the news and can identify how certain subject matter can be relayed across the brands
  • Able to be flexible and work in an environment with competing priorities
  • A portfolio of social video work is required to be considered for this role

Pay Range: $70,000 to $75,000. The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Mosaic’s/Teltech’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short and long-term incentives.
