At Teltech, we build mobile communication apps that make headlines. From spam call blocking, call recording, messaging, and more -- for more than a decade we’ve been building products that solve problems and make it easier to communicate. Our north star is impact, and we believe high-impact products can only be identified & delivered through rapid research & discovery, disciplined prioritization, and a bias toward shipping; so we practice these principles in everything we do.
We’re looking to add a Senior Product Manager to our growing Product Team. In this role, you can expect to function as a product owner, evaluate strategic opportunities, own the planning and execution of the OKRs & Roadmap for your team of engineers, designers, marketers, and data analysts, and be the primary responsible individual for your product’s performance. You’ll identify customer problems to solve, opportunities to address, and solutions to implement to achieve our goals. You’ll work with researchers and talk directly with customers to understand their needs. You’ll prototype some solutions that never make their way to our customers, you’ll test hypotheses that don’t pan out, and you’ll certainly make a pile of mistakes along the way; but you’ll have the opportunity and mandate to learn from those mistakes and deliver impact for our customers & business through that learning.
If that sounds like work you’d be excited to do, here’s what we would expect of a great candidate for the role:
What you’ve done
- You’ve worked 5+ years as a product manager for mobile apps
- You’ve led cross-functional teams including engineers, product designers, growth and data analysts; and have done so using agile methodologies
- You’ve owned & executed roadmaps from creation to completion, in alignment with the goals & objectives of your team
- You’ve owned end-to-end customer journeys, and are an expert in the problems & opportunities associated with acquisition, retention, and everything in between
What you can demonstrate
- A track record of making difficult decisions, in ambiguous situations, with tough tradeoffs, in alignment with the goals & objectives of your team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders (from customers to cross-functional team members to executives) and a wide variety of tools (docs, sheets, presentations, and digital whiteboards are all critical to our work)
- Comfort with a wide variety of analytical tools & practices: from basic usage analysis to in-depth customer interviews and research to direct database exploration
- A track record of delivering impact
What would make you an exceptional candidate
- You’ve spent years practicing and refining your A/B testing craft to run well-designed experiments with clear goals, outcomes, and learnings
- You’ve worked in the telecommunication space, especially working with VoIP calling or other aspects of call delivery
- You’ve worked on mobile subscription products, SaaS products, or within similar subscription/recurring business models
- You have deep expertise with analytics tools such as Amplitude, Looker, Tableau, or Mode Analytics (with fluency in SQL, PostgreSQL, or Python as a big plus)
- Organization is in your DNA, and your Shortcut/Jira/Linear board is known to be pristine
What we offer
- Freedom to make bold plans, generate buy-in, and go execute those plans with your team
- A safety net to make mistakes and learn from them (failure isn’t fatal)
- Competitive salary & bonus structure
- The flexibility to be fully remote
- Top of the line Apple hardware to equip you to do your best work, plus a home office reimbursement policy
- Continuous opportunities to grow, through professional & personal development, and a bias for internal promotion and growth that we’ve demonstrated for years
