The Position:

We are looking for a VP of Product to lead our customer-obsessed Product Management and User Experience teams. In this role, you will report directly to Teltech’s General Manager and define, build, and implement Teltech’s product strategy and roadmap while growing and developing your team of product managers and UX designers. This role will work cross-functionally with other internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and data, and establish seamless customer feedback loops to improve decision-making. You will also join the Teltech executive team and play a pivotal role in charting the company’s course going forward.

The ideal candidate has a track record of success at leading product organizations, ideally at a consumer technology company. Mobile and/or telecom-related experience is also a plus. You are analytical and creative and are willing to dive into the data and insights that will fuel our toughest decisions. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the vision, strategy and execution of Teltech’s products across platforms 
  • Represent the product organization at the executive level 
  • Manage, coach and mentor a team of 15-20 (~5 direct reports), inspiring them to produce their best work, and providing them with opportunities to level up their skills
  • Evaluate the market and competitive landscape to understand opportunities and potential value, and lead the ideation, planning and delivery of new products and features
  • Set and reach high standards for product quality, usability and user satisfaction
  • Implement processes that improve the quality and speed of the delivery process
  • Manage communications with key stakeholders regarding product goals, and measure progress against those goals, including the setting and tracking of product OKRs and roadmaps

Skills & Experiences That Will Make You Successful in This Role:

  • Strong track record of success in building, managing and scaling world-class products in the consumer technology space, with mobile-first product experience considered a plus
  • Experience leading world-class product teams and establishing the processes, workflows and infrastructure necessary to support long-term growth
  • Ability to recognize customers and industry trends, foresee future opportunities for the products, and build an inspiring product vision 
  • Strong understanding of user retention, engagement and monetization drivers, with experience managing products monetized via subscriptions considered a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends
  • Demonstrated ability to drive to consensus, with a preference to work collaboratively
  • High attention to detail, including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary to create high-quality products
  • Clear and compelling communicator with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into concise and readily understandable summaries
  • Humble, growth-minded and have a good sense of humor

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years relevant product management experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading high-performance product team(s) and mentoring product managers 

Preferred Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience with consumer mobile applications 
  • Prior experience working with telecommunications-related products

Salary Range: $195,000 to $260,000. The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of IAC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, IAC provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
