As the Director, Human Resources for our US operations, you will be responsible for the execution of our US people operations strategy and initiatives. Reporting to the VP Human Resources, this role is a critical HR business partner and that will act as an HR liaison for the respective businesses’ leadership teams and employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead day to day execution of People Operations strategy and initiatives
  • Build strong partnerships with leadership teams and consult on all the human resources related activities;
  • Understand the respective business’ ongoing strategic priorities to influence and guide leaders and employees toward solutions that improve business outcomes
  • Lead annual talent review and promotional and developmental conversations with managers and employees
  • Manage day to day employee relations and conflict management
  • Lead on employee terminations and exit interviews
  • Uncover cultural and/or relationship issues and solve by hitting them head on
  • Partner with legal team on any employee investigations
  • Lead the operational execution of the company’s L&D approach
  • Leverage employee development gaps to identify/confirm training content & modules
  • Utilize change management skills to proactively fold in new people programs (competency model, performance management, L&D, etc.)
  • Partner with the recruiting team to ensure that we are attracting the right talent;
  • On the ground HR subject matter expert and resource for the business providing both hands-on expertise with HR policy and practice;
  • Develop and promote a positive employer-employee relationship while keeping a pulse on the culture, morale and engagement levels across the team-celebrating successes as we drive towards aggressive business goals;

Qualifications

  • 4+ years' experience in a HR Business Partner or HR Manager role
  • 8 + years HR operations experience
  • Experience managing HR systems
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws 
  • Experience working for a matrixed organization
  • Experience with Agile HR principles, i.e. OKRs
  • Stakeholder orientated with excellent communication skills
