Summary
We are seeking a Case Developer to join our team. As a Case Developer, you must be highly organized and able to work on a varied caseload and take pride in what you do. The ideal candidate is customer focused and empathetic.
Case Development is an entry level position starting at $16/hour + bonus opportunity
Responsibilities
File appeals for clients in a timely manner within the parameters of Social Security Administration's deadlines
Assist clients with questions they have regarding their paperwork and answer any other questions they may have regarding the process
Communicate with SSA (Social Security Administration) relating to your client’s claim
Review files for potential issues that could affect the clients claim
Review and Prepare RFH (request for hearing) files for transfer to the legal teams
Interact with attorneys and present case synopsis when required
Manage case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney
Maintain organized case files
Daily interaction with existing and potential clients, both via telephone and email
Work directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files
Other administrative duties at the discretion of management
Qualification
High School diploma or GED required
Must be available to work Monday-Friday (open availability)
Ability to be a team player and follow procedures
Must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision
Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
