We are looking for a Junior Out-of-Home Media Buyer to join our Marketing team! Successful candidates will analyze and interpret market analytics to determine optimal OOH medium for placement and marketing campaigns. You are a highly persuasive and are able to secure advertising spaces that ensures the maximum reach of campaigns with consistent pricing.
*This position can sit in one of our major east coast offices: Brooklyn, Boston, Philadelphia or Atlanta
General Responsibilities
- Negotiate and procure desired advertising space and media slots by market.
- Conduct market research, analyze demographics, media usage, traffic patterns, and client attributes to define the target audience and campaign requirements.
- Develop advertising strategics and campaigns with marketing teams to most proactively reach desired audience, at the most competitive CPM level.
- Manage and prepare budgets and monitor campaign costs, ROI and CPM metrics while identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Travel to designated cities to inspect the billboard locations. Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with all media partners and Account Executives.
Production and Posting Requirements:
- Collaborate with Design and greater marketing team to plan for campaign messaging and asset delivery
- Prepare posting instructions for account executives and submit for posting
- Submit and approve proofs for printers for all materials in campaign, review proofs for accuracy of office, disclaimers, size, shipping and delivery.
Internal Reporting and Share Data:
- Prepare analysis of proposed campaign with Google Sheets in RFP format.
- Provide internal reporting, demographic analysis, Prime Lingo and Kantar research for presentation of campaign to Finance team.
- Validate plan with TRP, Reach and Frequency.
- Negotiate competitive rates and terms consistent with Morgan & Morgan standard programs.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in OOH Media Buying, Planning Research or Strategy + minimum 4 year college degree
- High level of computer technical skills including but not limited to: Slack, Monday.com, Google Drive, Drop Box and One Drive
- Knowledge of OOH terminology and ability to update program details
- Familiarity with third party research reports, i.e. Kantar, Scarborough, and Nielsen
- Geopath certified and trained for data reporting
- Knowledge of Strata based financial software and functions
- Strong written and verbal skills with a high degree of negotiating and analytical skills
- Ability to function with minimal guidance and tight deadlines
- Willingness and ability to travel to assigned markets for localized inspection of OOH assets
