The People team is a new team within MoonPay with the goal of creating a spectacular end to end people experience for our employees. We have experience working at some of the most respected startups and fast growing technology companies in the world. We are solving interesting challenges such as scaling the company rapidly while developing a culture of innovation and equality. The People team is split into two squads, the People squad and the Hiring squad but we work cross functionally on a variety of projects.
You'll Spend Your Time 👀
- Sourcing high calibre candidates through direct channels for our Engineering roles
- Getting involved in Engineering communities to build medium to long term talent pools.
- Running the end to end recruitment process from sourcing through to closing.
- Contributing to our overall hiring strategy and key projects / initiatives.
- Partner with our CTO, Victor alongside our Lead Engineering Recruiter to hire the best Engineering talent globally.
- Come up with new and innovative approaches to sourcing candidates.
- Evaluating data to generate insights that help us improve our approach to hiring.
- Building a company that you’ll feel proud to be part of.
- Working in a team where you’ll be given freedom, autonomy and responsibility.
You Should Apply If ✅
- You have 2+ years experience as an internal Tech Recruiter for leading startups or fast growing tech companies.
- You have proven experience hiring for technical roles through direct sourcing.
- You’ve hired Engineers throughout your career.
- You have strong recruitment fundamentals e.g sourcing, managing stakeholders, closing candidates, drawing insights from Data, creating processes.
- You're passionate about building high performing and cohesive teams and to do this see cultural assessment as a key part of the hiring process.
- Bonus if you’ve built a remote first company.

Our interview process takes place on Google Hangouts and tends to consist of the following stages:
- Recruiter call (30 minutes)
- Initial screen (30-45 minutes)
- Remote take-home task (role dependent)
- Final interview (2 hours)
