The role

Manage, co-ordinate and develop the BAU email communications calendar globally from the briefing and planning stage, working alongside various teams through creation of email creative, amends and scheduling. Support with regular email performance reporting required, along with initiating new ideas for testing, personalization and content to further develop the CRM BAU function. Learnings to be taken and implemented both from competitor research and testing results. 

What you will do:

  • Manage the BAU communications email calendar globally from the briefing and planning stage to working with the email developer through creation of email creative, amends and scheduling. This requires effective communication and collaboration with numerous teams across the business including copy, design, brand marketing, other digital teams such as social and the CRM co-ordinator for email plan alignment. Ensuring at all times emails are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support with reporting, insights and competitor research to optimise and grow the BAU email channel. Contribute new ideas for email content, testing plans and personalisation, pulling inspiration from industry trends and learnings from previous email performance/tests.
  • Support with producing weekly, monthly and campaign driven reporting to share with Digital and wider business; highlight key insights and suggest actions for enhancements and improvements, including providing insights on testing.
  • Support with CRM team with projects such as implementation of new email platform, data management, customer journey personalisation planning across channels etc.
  • Align with internal departments (eCommerce, Retail, merchandising, legal, etc.) to ensure the customer journey is optimised and brand experience in line with expectation. Business/trade awareness such as stock updates and trade calendar required to make relevant changes to emails where necessary.
  • CRM Manager with administrative tasks such as BAU process changes and amends to lifecycle emails where required to ensure a smooth customer journey and optimise the efficiency of the team.

What you will need:

  • Qualifications in marketing/digital marketing/ecommerce/business areas preferred, at degree level or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-2 years digital experience in a results driven role for a consumer brand.
  • General understanding of html and email assets.
  • Attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders in collaborative manner.
  • Analytical mindset; able to analyse and interpret data and communicate clear actionable conclusions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to specific deadlines. Excellent time-management skills and can respond proactively and positively to changing priorities.
  • Inquisitive nature, desire to learn, hands on approach with a problem solving.
