The Impact You’ll Be Contributing to Moloco:

We are looking for a GTM Sr. Strategy Ops Manager to drive the JPN business. As a trusted partner of regional leaders, this role is instrumental in steering the commercial strategy and operations for Moloco’s fast-growing JPN business, driving top-line growth in the short term. Success for this leader will come in four core areas:

  • Build a growth strategy with strategic initiatives based on market insights by understanding regional market landscape, competition, and customer behaviors. 
  • Partnered with regional leadership, prioritize important strategic initiatives, and drive commercial organization to execute and achieve the goal as a program manager  
  • Provide guidance and lead the commercial leadership team to make sure the  organization’s business operations are properly run at regional levels   
  • Collaborate with the global GTM team (Design, Analytics, Sales Activation, Product Specialist, Partnership) to support and drive the design and execution of multiple initiatives and programs

  • Support leadership team’s decision-making on business challenges with strategic and problem-solving capabilities
  • Manage and drive the execution of various global and regional level strategic initiatives and programs with the leadership team
  • Engage with different business operations by supporting regional leaders to align with global GTM policy and processes
  • Support business cadence between global and regional, and within regional teams
  • Closely interact with the regional commercial team to identify operational challenges, define improvement initiatives, and work with global GTM teams to solve those challenges
  • Develop market insights and winning strategy with regional leadership team, and mobilize initiatives

How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me?

  • 10+ years of Strategy Consulting, Sales Operations, or Sales Leadership experience 
  • Keen understanding of B2B Sales motions, from top of funnel lead generation to long term value sustainability, combining strong analytical ability with a deep understanding of real-life seller and customer dynamics
  • Proven track record of driving top line growth via strategic initiatives in a global, fast-paced, B2B sales setting
  • Ability to challenge and persuade cross-functional audiences to act - from peers around the org to senior executives
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both Japanese and English
  • Bonus points: experience in the adtech, performance marketing, retail media, or the machine learning space, past work in a fast-paced startup environment
