About the role

We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated Agency Director to take command of our agency strategies and grow their mobile businesses in Japan. As a member of our Japan team, you will play an important role in shaping and executing our GTM strategy for the region. This position is based in Japan.


What you’ll do

  • Build strong and long-term business relationships with assigned agency clients and act as a trusted advisor to their leaders
  • Identify growth opportunities, create strategies, and execute accordingly
  • Conduct business reviews with the clients pertaining to their goals, new product feature updates and market trends
  • Prospect, qualify and close new revenue-generating agencies.
  • Work closely with account managers to analyze accounts, and collaborate with internal teams to make sure the campaigns are executed properly
  • Facilitate external client product feature requests with internal product teams
  • Understand the mobile ecosystem, stay current on industry trends, and offer actionable insights to clients


What you’ll need to succeed

  • 5 to 10 years in digital advertising sales and/or account management with a strategic and consultative approach with a focus on building long-term partnerships with agencies
  • Mobile performance and programmatic advertising experience is a plus
  • Proven track record of growing revenue in quarterly managed business goals
  • Great negotiation, presentation, and communication skills both in writing and in-person
  • Team player and ability to adapt to a growing company
  • Critical thinking, curiosity about online advertising and new technologies, and passion for winning
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Fluent in Japanese (speech and writing), business level or above in English (speech and writing)
  • Travel as needed
