We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Accounting Lead for an exciting position within finance at our company. As an Accounting Lead, you will play a central role in our small yet dynamic team of four members. You will be the driving force behind our accounting department and responsible for a range of crucial tasks, such as leading the team on a day-to-day basis and operationally contributing to tasks like financial statements, month end closing, analysis, reconciliations, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial statements and year-end closing.
- Develop and coach the small team to achieve success in their deliverables.
- Proactively work to solve problems and ensure tasks are completed within deadlines.
- Quality assure and improve internal processes
- Analyze and submit the monthly reporting to parent company based in the US and be the point of contact for external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with auditors to plan and conduct audits.
- Ensure compliance with Swedish laws and Swedish GAAP.
- Serve as a backup to the finance director and support in budget processes, audits, and financial statements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for driving work forward.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Experience in a leadership position or with team responsibility is desirable.
- Experience in multinational entity is desirable.
