SUMMARY

The Digital Marketing Specialist II is primarily responsible for managing programmatic advertising campaigns. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining flawless digital marketing campaign management to achieve client’s KPIs. The three main functions being: 1) Media Planning, 2) Campaign Build & Execution, 3)Reporting & Analysis.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Media Activation:

  • Responsible for managing the execution of programmatic display, mobile, and video campaigns on your book of business and ensuring flawless execution and exceptional campaign performance
  • Partnering with internal teams to understand the client’s marketing goals and provide media plan feedback to ensure we are set up to achieve results
  • Helping identify and suggest new strategies or tactics that will help deliver or exceed client goals
  • Strong understanding of programmatic display strategies, tools, and data that can be leveraged to make campaigns more successful
  • Analyzing data on a daily basis to perform ongoing optimizations to achieve KPI goals, including optimizations across other digital media channels
  • Identify any shifts in digital performance trends
  • Contributing to weekly, monthly, and annual reporting needs and insights
  • Contributing to client presentations and insights
  • Troubleshoot campaign, creative, and technical issues affecting tracking, implementation, and/or performance
  • Leading trafficking in DCM and platforms with support from internal teams
  • Contributing to improvements in processes
  • Learn & model best practices in Google Marketing Platform (DV360), Campaign Manager, and Google Tag Manager. Working knowledge of The Trade Desk, DSP, Google Analytics, and visualization and reporting tool (Tableau) would be a bonus 

 Team:

  • Demonstrate best practices in working and communicating cross-functionally with sales, client solutions, media activation, and 3rd party vendors using vertical business strategy, revenue-driving tactics, and increase customer satisfaction
  • Using your analytical mindset, you will work with and communicate cross-functionally with Sales, Client Solutions, and other internal stakeholders on platform strategy, execution, performance, and reporting of campaigns across all programmatic buying platforms
  • Collaborate with teams as the programmatic experts for clients on campaign performance and optimization, providing insights into the best strategies and tactics to achieve business objectives
  • Proactively problem-solve to resourcefully seek the best solution to challenges
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of agency process, departments, and how to effectively get work done on time and on budget
  • Supports interviewing and hiring processes (as needed) and helps train and educate the team on best practices

Client Revenue & Growth:

  • Responsible for client retention rates
  • Supporting key lines of business (agency business, Fan365, or other responsibilities as outlined in your individual performance goals)
  • Disrupt the mindset of customers and sales teams by bringing innovative ideas that showcase a case for change and MogoSME’s unique value proposition
  • Identify opportunities to improve the campaign performance and customer experience

Operations:

  • Become the expert in your channel of focus

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.)or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of professional work experience with a firm understanding of data, statistics, or analytics
  • Understanding of performance analytics and ability to interpret data into meaningful insights and actionable next steps
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interdepartmental coordination, collaboration skills, and project management skills
  • Ability to communicate directly with clients to address questions and resolve concerns with diplomacy and acumen
  • Understanding of performance analytics and the ability to interpret data into meaningful insights and actionable next steps
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, and HTML is a plus
  • Google Analytics certified preferred
  • Working knowledge of Google Marketing Platform (DV360), Campaign Manager, and Google Tag Manager.  Working knowledge of The Trade Desk, DSP, Google Analytics, and visualization and reporting tool (Tableau) would be a bonus

Pay Transparency

The approximate base pay range for this position is $62,000.00 to $75,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
