Location: Remote within the United States

Reports to: Director of Solutions Implementation 

Salary: $95,000 to $115,000 base salary, eligible for annual bonus

Anticipated Start Timeline: May-June, 2024

Schedule: Flexible work hours within a standard business day

What we are looking for:

We're looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our team and report to the Director of Solutions Implementation. From day one you will serve as a trusted liaison in the sales process when complex technical services are involved, and be a central source of continuity for clients by implementing custom solutions post-sale. As an integral part of the company and product growth, Solutions Engineer contributes technical expertise to our partners, marketing department, and product team.

  • Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and conscientious data habits
  • Excellent sales and client service skills with a proven ability to explain, document, and demonstrate technical products/solutions to non-technical audiences
  • You are capable and willing to manage multiple competing priorities 
  • Proactive, solution-oriented thinking, and the flexibility to apply it over a range of context
  • Disciplined adherence to processes with willingness to streamline them as needed

What your day to day looks like:

Professional Services / Technical Implementation

  • Make Mogli sing by maximizing the value Mogli SMS delivers to the client by providing appropriate solutions to their business needs within their constraints
  • Own the professional services lifecycle: In tight coordination with the client, conduct scoping, implementation, testing, rollout, training, documentation, and sign-off of the build within the agreed time and budget
  • Be a source of continuity from the sales process through implementation by building customizations and/or automations requested by the client during the sales process 
  • Adhere to internal processes regarding time tracking, project management, knowledge management for professional services for proper accounting and risk management

Sales and Marketing Support

  • Instill in prospective clients high confidence in Mogli and its products and propel opportunities forward by providing accurate technical information, projecting technical strength, and showcasing our partnership approach in pre-sale interactions
  • Arm our Sales and Marketing teams with compelling demo environments to smoothly communicate our product value proposition to more prospects faster and technical talking points for the strongest possible marketing material and presentations
  • Conduct discovery sessions with existing and potential clients to assess and understand technical requirements for Mogli SMS and Salesforce systems and help our Sales and Account Management team to properly position our product and maximize value
  • Collaborate with our Product and Sales team to provide accurate, holistic quotes for custom client requirements to ensure collaboration for a positive client experience
  • Build Proof of Concepts and perform demonstrations as needed to secure strategic clients 

Product Development

  • Look for patterns by channeling technical experience, client needs, and application trends to inform Mogli’s development roadmap and sharpen the product 
  • Assist the Product team with research and development of new product features, innovations, and integrations
  • Build and manage product extensions (add-on packages) to provide a technically sound, scalable, and profitable revenue stream while delighting customers and solving their pain

Partner Support

  • Support Partner Alliance Manager’s mission to recruit and retain partners in order to extend Mogli’s reach and enhance our competitiveness
  • Cement strong partnerships and make Mogli the partner-of-choice by providing partners with compelling demo material and technical assistance to maximize the joint opportunity 
  • Foster potential partner interest and confidence in Mogli at engagement events and support partner and client satisfaction during the implementation phase post-sale
  • Assist partners/Salesforce SEs/AEs with configuration, automation, replication, and review of Mogli use cases in their demo environments

Team Management and Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain data integrity of key systems (time entry, cases, implementation library, etc) to ensure processes serve core business goals and create valuable metrics
  • Assist the Director of Solutions Implementation in managing aspects of the department as needed
  • Assist Customer Success Team on a limited, contained basis to address specific classes of issues

What you bring to the table:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce architecture, clouds, products, use cases
  • Experience deploying and/or supporting Mogli SMS or similar messaging SaaS product
  • 2-3 years of experience with declarative configuration of Salesforce and related products
  • Marketing Cloud and Apex programming experience preferred
  • Background managing client accounts and/or directly interacting with clients
  • 1-2 years of related product, solution engineering, or sales experience 
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or other related fields
  • Understanding Nonprofit and Higher Education sectors is a bonus, but not required
