The Role- 

Providing exceptional care is at the heart of Modern Health, and we’re looking for a Clinical Quality Lead to join our team to help advance this mission. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert, champion, and consultant on therapy, other modalities of our care within our platform, provider quality, and evidence-based practices. You will have a particular focus on designing and implementing strategies to promote clinical quality and also elevate the provider’s experience within a global network of thousands of providers across over 50 countries. 

This position is not eligible to be performed in Hawaii.

What You’ll Do-

  • Support the development of strategies and procedures to ensure appropriate monitoring of provider quality (e.g., provider feedback following member complaints, incident management, culturally-centered feedback approaches) across a global provider network
  • Support the development of strategies and procedures to rigorously monitor and improve quality across the full spectrum of care within our product and services
  • Consult Legal, Compliance and Operations teams to support implementation of provider quality assurance and management procedures 
  • Operationalize and develop measurements of global provider quality, engagement, and satisfaction in a manner consistent with value-based care.
  • Be an advocate for provider needs and champion opportunities to promote provider engagement and satisfaction throughout the entire provider experience lifecycle (e.g., applying to, onboarding with, providing services through Modern Health’s platform, and interacting with Modern Health and the community of providers in our network)
  • Develop and project manage scalable solutions for a global and multidisciplinary provider network that promote provider quality through sourcing, professional development, and other provider-facing events, particularly as they relate to implementing culturally-centered care and measurement-based care
  • Consult with the Operations and Product teams to support providers and implement evidence-based principles across our platform, particularly with regard to culturally-centered care and measurement-based care

Who You Are-

  • You have an advanced degree in psychology or a related field (Master’s degree or above)
  • You’re licensed to practice psychotherapy (psychologist, LMFT, LPCC, LCSW)
  • You have 4+ years experience practicing clinical care utilizing evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT, MBCT, MI) and meaningful advanced training in using such approaches across a variety of demographic and cultural groups
  • You have experience managing and implementing clinical programming and procedures for a team of providers (ideally from different training backgrounds) to ensure provider quality 
  • You have experience developing ethically and culturally-centered practices, policies, and procedures for assessing and ensuring provider quality
  • You have experience developing and implementing strategies to enhance continuous improvement in process and outcomes
  • You have working knowledge of a quality improvement framework or methodology and commitment to a continuous quality improvement mindset
  • You are operationally savvy and prefer to build systems instead of single-use solutions
  • You enjoy working in dynamic and ambiguous environments with lots of interdisciplinary collaboration
  • You are passionate about innovating and moving mental health care into the future
  • You have knowledge of or experience implementing evidence-based approaches and/or theoretical frameworks used specifically to promote provider quality and satisfaction
  • You have knowledge of provider and clinical quality assurance procedures in countries outside of the United States is a plus
  • You have developed training modules and/or content for professional development for providers to promote clinical quality is a plus
