The Role- 

Providing exceptional care is at the heart of Modern Health. We are looking for a Director of Clinical Research to join our Clinical Care team to help advance this mission. In this role, you will drive Modern Health’s research strategy and ensure that we are leading the field in research.

We’re committed to the health and safety of the community, so our team is currently working remotely and will continue to do so for the near term. Permanently remote opportunities are specifically indicated.

What You’ll Do-

  • Refine the research strategy and drive towards measurable research outcomes
  • Conduct retrospective and prospective evaluations of the effectiveness of Modern Health offerings and publish outcomes in peer-reviewed journals
  • Develop partnerships with external organizations to conduct and publish research on the effectiveness of Modern Health offerings
  • Stay up to date on current research on psychological science and behavior change and ensure this is leveraged internally for product decisions
  • Work closely with our data team to richly understand our members’ experiences and how to continually improve them

Who You Are-

  • Advanced degree in clinical psychology or a related field (Master’s degree or above, PhD/PsyD preferred) 
  • 5+ years of experience conducting research in an industry setting
  • 3+ years of experience leading a research team
  • Experience conducting and publishing clinical outcomes research, including 10+ peer-reviewed publications
  • You take initiative and like to build things from scratch with little direction
  • You enjoy working in dynamic environments with lots of interdisciplinary collaboration
