About the Role

This role is a unique blend of strategy and execution, as you will be leading all of Modern Health’s talent recruitment efforts while also being our first recruiter. This means that in addition to creating brilliant strategies and processes, you’ll also be doing the work of recruiting. It is a role with the opportunity to own a critical part of a quickly growing company, and eventually, build and lead a team.

You will work closely with company leaders to co-develop hiring plans and long-term growth strategies, while also managing the interview, offer, closing and onboarding stages of potential team members. You will build a pipeline of amazing potential candidates for all positions across the company, with a strong focus on engineering talent. You will create a recruitment process that provides a meaningful, positive experience for potential teammates that instills our company values and brand. You will develop creative strategies for attracting and closing the best talent in the world.


About You

You have led technical recruitment efforts in the past and are excited to use your skills to get more people outside. You are passionate about company culture and creating a recruitment experience through which potential team members will learn about our values and brand in a meaningful way. You know how competitive the Bay Area market is for top talent, and are excited to design creative ideas to recruit the best to our team. You’ve done internal recruiting for a team you really care about before, and are always thinking of yourself as an ambassador of the company.

You are comfortable shifting gears from high level strategy to tactical work on a frequent basis. You look forward to the challenge of constantly testing and iterating your process to always be improving. You’re excited about owning a big and important piece of a quickly growing company—because nothing is more important than our people.
