As an experienced Senior Manager Of Performance Marketing, you’ll serve as the owner of our paid acquisition, website and SEO channels. In this role, your mandate will be to create and execute a robust strategy to drive efficient growth  & optimization within our acquisition funnels. You will be asked to make decisions on tech, budget & personnel needed to effectively scale our digital and paid efforts, as well as oversee the day-to-day execution that drives our KPIs (reach, convert & activate members).

The ideal candidate is a growth oriented marketer and has a strong paid media background and analytical/organized mindset, with particular expertise in paid social and search marketing. You are a detail-oriented individual, can focus on accuracy and a commitment to maintaining the quality of work in all aspects of performance marketing activities. You possess a growth mindset and are comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. You have led & mentored your team to launch high-impact paid media campaigns that drove measurable results, and have proven experience working cross functionally with product & eng teams to advocate for & address gaps in the overall conversion funnel. You deeply understand how to leverage performance channels to reach new audiences and build an enduring brand, and can adopt a customer-obsessed approach to marketing messages. You have an understanding of how CRM programs partner with paid marketing to create a customer acquisition flywheel and can influence our approach here using data.  Most importantly, you’re eager to roll up your sleeves and lead your team to bring our mission to life as we grow. 

This role reports directly to the VP Marketing and will work from our headquarters in Culver City, CA, with flexibility for remote work during set days of the week. 

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and oversee all aspects of our digital marketing tactics including paid acquisition, optimization of the marketing website and SEO strategies to drive customers for new and existing clinics, in new & existing markets against performance targets
  • Monitor and regularly report on paid campaign performance on an established cadence building a robust & clear attribution and marketing measurement system
  • Mentor & manage the Paid Marketing Manager to achieve results, Opportunity to scale team as company grows
  • Create our SEO strategy and own point-of-view around site rankings and web traffic
  • Drive the creative development of our performance campaigns, clearly briefing in Content/Creative team and partnering closely on the final delivery
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations to address gaps in our existing digital strategies and identify new areas for growth
  • Develop a deep understanding of our marketing funnel and attribution and use data-driven insights to prioritize, lead, and implement performance marketing strategies to drive member conversion
  • Use data-driven insights to prioritize, lead, and implement new solutions that cost effectively drive member conversion and volume
  • Build and deliver on a robust growth and test plan across paid channels and web touchpoints to drive tangible, measurable outcomes
  • Evolve and iterate upon the Growth Marketing paid marketing playbook that enables market expansion, including testing / scaling new digital marketing channels
  • Mentor & manage the Performance Marketing Manager, and in time scale a team, to achieve results

Why you’d be a great fit:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant B2C growth or performance marketing experience, preferably growing a significant customer base in a startup environment
  • A minimum of 2+  years of people management experience, showcasing a history of building, growing, and effectively managing performance marketing teams.
  • Proven track record in autonomously managing large, complex, global performance marketing campaigns across multiple markets and paid social/SEM/Display channels – Meta Ads advertising experience is a must
  • Deep experience with marketing measurement, attribution and conversion tracking—proven experience with web attribution is a must 
  • You understand the role paid marketing pays in the customer journey and can connect the dots between customer behavior
  • Passion for developing best-in-class campaigns, messaging and creative that represent the brand. 
  • Ability to work efficiently, prioritize, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines 
  • Biased to action in iterative processes, willing to tackle problems hands-on and get things done
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to advocate internally and present ideas
  • Strong experience with analytics tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Metabase, Heap, and GA4. — knowledge of SQL is a strong plus but not required
  • You have experience with developing SEO strategies, website CRO, and website development is a strong plus but not required
  • Based in Los Angeles, or willing to relocate.

The pay range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and equity grant units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the California Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on geographic location.
