The Customer Growth team is at the core of MNTN’s mission, working to empower our customers to leverage the platform’s full potential to meet their most important business outcomes.

We’re seeking a high-performing Account Director who will be the strategic leader for a portfolio of Key Accounts, focused on driving revenue growth, fostering strong customer relationships, and positioning MNTN as a trusted industry partner. This role combines strategic account planning, cross-functional collaboration, and thought leadership to deliver results that align with both customer objectives and MNTN’s goals for retention and expansion.

What You’ll Do:

1. Drive Growth and Revenue Expansion

  • Own a book of business focused on driving revenue growth, share of wallet expansion, and retention for key accounts.
  • Identify and pitch revenue opportunities within accounts, such as upsell opportunities, campaign expansions and new testing opportunities through our beta programs. 
  • Collaborate with customers on proof-of-concept projects that align with their goals and deliver measurable results.
  • Partner with sales and technical teams to ensure the success of newly onboarded customers.
  • Lead contract negotiations, creating mutually beneficial agreements that prioritize long-term partnership and success.

2. Strategic Account Planning

  • Develop comprehensive account plans to align customer needs with MNTN’s offerings and achieve revenue and satisfaction targets.
  • Conduct regular Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) with customer leadership to highlight value delivered, align on goals, and discuss future opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, technical support, creative specialists, and analytics experts, to execute account strategies.
  • Use data-driven insights, including MNTN’s customer report card system, to benchmark performance and demonstrate value.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key executives and stakeholders, with a focus on C-suite alignment.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance, addressing escalations, and proactively identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Serve as an external consultant to educate customers on MNTN’s solutions, best practices, and creative strategies.

4. Industry Expertise and Thought Leadership

  • Communicate MNTN’s value proposition to customers, aligning solutions to their business challenges and growth strategies.
  • Provide industry insights and guidance to customers, positioning MNTN as a trusted leader in the AdTech space.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, helping internal teams stay aligned with customer needs while representing MNTN in the broader market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to explore innovative solutions and build strategic partnerships with customers that drive growth.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Proven Track Record: 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing revenue role, in CTV or a related field.
  • Strategic Leadership: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans and grow relationships at all levels of an organization, especially with C-suite executives.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficiency in leveraging performance insights, benchmarking data, and customer metrics to craft recommendations.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the AdTech/CTV ecosystem, performance marketing trends, and the evolving needs of marketers.
  • Collaboration Skills: Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that drive value for customers.
  • Contract Negotiation Experience: Proven ability to lead contract discussions with a focus on long-term success.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Adept at simplifying complex concepts, telling a compelling story, and inspiring confidence in customer stakeholders.
