MNTN is looking for a Senior Product Designer to innovate our user interface. You must run your post like a business and have experience leading your design efforts across different teams, while ensuring that your product design delivers both practical and innovative solutions to the platform. You will plot user journeys and set the acceptance criteria for your design work as you act as the liaison between stakeholders on your design work. You will be a part of a team rapidly designing and prototyping new features and ideas for current and next-generation MNTN products.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work cross functionally with other MNTN teams to identify needs and carry out product vision
  • Research user base to uncover and implement opportunities for innovation
  • Prototype simple & intuitive experiences and collaborate with the development team to inform future product features and benefits
  • Contribute to all stages of the design process from user research to wireframes and shipping the product
  • Create mockups to express your concepts and vet them with your peers
  • Prioritize backlogs
  • Work cross-functionally across departments to be the voice of user engagement and campaign management
  • Coordinate with design team members to constantly improve user engagement for new and existing MNTN products
  • Become a MNTN subject matter expert
  • Be a self-starter and problem solver to facilitate self-identified opportunities in the product.
  • Partner with engineers, QA, leadership, and customer-facing teams to arrive at design solutions that drive business value.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience designing for SaaS platforms and consumer facing self-service apps
  • Passionate about creating beautiful user-centric experiences
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Kanban or Agile methodologies
  • Ability to create user stories and prioritize design work
  • Work cross-functionally across departments to be the voice of user engagement and reporting
  • Experience building and maintaining design systems
  • Experience working with Figma
  • Proficient working with a design system and structuring all your project work in a clean and efficient way
  • Experience with JIRA
