Event Summary: The Baseball Industry Network (currently hosted on LinkedIn) is a community of over 44,000 members started in August of 2009 by Tyrone Brooks featuring MLB and minor league Club employees, job seekers, baseball agents, companies associated with the industry, and baseball enthusiasts. This traditionally held free annual event at the Baseball Winter Meetings (held since 2009 at the Baseball Winter Meetings) provides an opportunity for prospective job seekers (all are welcome) to network and connect with Club officials which has led to thousands of industry job hires throughout the history of the event. BIN widely promotes this event on LinkedIn and is a terrific opportunity for MLB, PDL, and MLB Partner Leagues to connect and network with job seekers and students. Resumes are collected and distributed to any organization wishing to receive resumes in advance of the event to assist them in their screening of prospective candidates. Companies associated with the industry (equipment manufacturers, etc.) are encouraged to attend to build relationships with MLB and minor league baseball organizations. When last held San Diego in 2022, the event featured over 500 attendees including Club personnel.
