Major League Baseball is working closely with our Partner Leagues to get in front of current players to assist them with transitioning into potential post-playing careers in the game. As part of this joint effort, Major League Baseball is visiting teams within the Atlantic League, American Association, Frontier League, and Pioneer League, in addition to team participating in the MLB Draft League during the course of the 2023 season to educate and inform players and staff on resources available to them through MLB Player Programs and the MLB Diversity Pipeline Program. The discussions hosted by members of the On-Field department include Tyrone Brooks (Senior Director, Front Office & Field Staff Diversity Pipeline Program), Rajai Davis (Senior Director, Baseball Operations, played 14 MLB seasons), and Bo Porter (former MLB manager, current MLB Network analyst and Director of MLB Coaching Development).
