Join Major League Baseball's dynamic Enterprise Products team as a Senior Functional Lead of Enterprise Systems. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team. This role involves working with key stakeholders across various business areas, including finance, procurement, client-facing, and operations, to identify and gather requirements and develop functional and technical specifications. The successful candidate will have a strong functional and technical understanding of ERP systems, particularly Oracle Cloud Fusion, and will be responsible for supporting UAT testing, change management, end-user training, and migration activities.


CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Education and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in ERP software, Oracle Cloud ERP in particular.

  • Proven experience in working with stakeholders across various business areas to gather requirements and develop specifications.

  • Experience in supporting UAT testing, change management, end-user training, and migration activities.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with agency management stakeholders, cross-team business leads, and vendors, with the ability to tailor communication as needed.

  • Demonstrated ability to set challenging yet realistic goals for self and others.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Provide a strong functional and technical understanding of ERP systems, focusing on Oracle Cloud Financials.

  • Work with key stakeholders across business areas to identify and gather requirements.

  • Manage multiple initiatives concurrently, overseeing entire project lifecycles from research to implementation.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams-leads to plan, document, and execute deployment of enterprise technology in support of MLB’s enterprise products initiatives.

  • Establish clear communication across multiple verticals to keep teams aligned on expectations as priorities shift and project scopes are adjusted.

  • Gather Business requirements for proposed projects to establish scope and schedule, and work with Business Operations on budgeting

  • Understand and communicate project status and provide updates to a wide range of stakeholders, including issues and risks across a portfolio of projects.

  • Effectively communicate complex concepts or technically challenging project information to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
