About the Role
We are looking for a self-driven, resourceful and process-oriented marketing operations and martech expert who will help us automate, scale, improve conversion of our demand generation efforts. You will be responsible for key marketing technologies and for proactively managing the performance and optimization of the demand generation function. This position reports to our VP, Demand Generation and will require extensive liaison with our wider marketing team as well as business development, sales, operations, analytics and product teams.
What We Are Looking For
You have significant (at least 4 years) marketing operations experience.
You’ll own and manage our marketing automation system (Marketo). Including campaign management and execution, nurture programs, internal training etc.
You will implement and continually refine lead scoring (demographic, behavioral and Mixpanel); surfacing relevant data to sales teams (you are happy to train them too).
You can devise and manage lead flows, develop, track and analyze attribution models and implement the technology to enable this.
You know how to architect and instrument marketing and sales enablement systems - and those you don’t know, you’ll learn quick. Eg Marketo, Salesforce, Captora, Wordpress, Showpad, Clari, Bizible, BrightFunnel, Adroll, Mighty Signal, Google Analytics, content syndication systems, VWO, Mixpanel and the like.
You will intrinsically see opportunities to improve efficiency and it will keep you awake at night until you’ve found a way for us to optimize. You’ll refine processes or scope, research and implement technologies where relevant.
You see yourself as the guardian of our marketing database. You will relentlessly pursue ways to segment, personalize, improve the quality of data, manage new data acquisition and augmentation projects and be our prospect ambassador - including traffic cop for the number of times we can communicate.
You will create dashboards to monitor and analyze all aspects of demand generation performance. You’ll forecast our KPIs and flag (and work with the team to fix) anomalies immediately.
