About the Mixpanel Design Team

Our Design team is responsible for bringing creative and delightful experiences that connect with our core audience. The brand design team works alongside a collaborative mix of teams across Product Marketing, Product Design, PMs, Engineering, and our People team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly creative, digitally-focused Brand Designer that pushes the boundaries with their work. As a brand designer, you will make an immediate and significant impact through design-driven storytelling while elevating our brand experience. You will work on a mix of projects spanning various marketing, product, and internal touchpoints. As a result, you'll have a tremendous amount of influence over the brand as it applies to a diverse set of platforms and experiences.

  • Mixpanel.com — A new site experience that connects with our core audience
  • Color Systems — Unifying the product and brand design experience
  • Guides — The Guide to Product Analytics

Responsibilities

  • 4+ years of graphic design experience working at an agency or in-house
  • Your portfolio showcases a breadth of creative work with brand design, illustration, advertising, and growth marketing work, UI experience across multiple platforms (web, desktop, mobile)
  • You have a strong understanding of design principles including layout, typography, and design systems.
  • Ability to create both print and digital graphics that are beautiful, on brand
  • Experience working on responsive web design and collaborating with front end engineers
  • You don't need to code, but you should understand at a high-level how digital products are made.
  • Organized and responsible. Able to independently drive multiple projects at a time, meet tight deadlines, and push projects further than expected
  • Strong drive to broaden your skills and contribute to a high impact team.
  • Present your work to partners and stakeholders balancing a thoughtful POV with an appetite for feedback
  • Collaborate with marketing partners to build insightful creative and iterate when necessary
  • Implement a consistent and cohesive brand identity across all channels
