Purpose and scope:

Perform the installation, upgrades, maintenance and inspection services for wireless microwave radio systems on towers, rooftops and other elevated structures.


  • Antenna installation of microwave dishes and radio equipment
  • Installation of tower top steel including, mounts, masts, bracing, safety climb systems and similar appurtenances
  • Must be able to properly configure hardware and software components per the carrier standards
  • Knowledge with use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment
  • Install, connect and test underground and above ground grounding systems as needed
  • Read construction drawings, site plans, tower drawings and red lines as needed
  • Must be able to complete all on-site closeout package photo requirements
  • Responsible for truck and tool inventory as well as overall job site cleanliness
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external partners
  • Following instructions accurately and complete projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to travel throughout California, Nevada and work at heights in extreme weather conditions

Education and Training:

  • OSHA 10. RF Safety awareness. Tower climb / rescue certified

Technical Requirements:

  • Must be able to shoot proper azimuths using both a compass and an AAT tool
