Mirantis Inc is inviting enthusiastic Senior DevOps Engineers who will work with our Services teams to design, develop and deploy application lifecycle management automation.


  • Designing and deploying dynamically scalable, highly available, fault tolerant, and reliable applications and systems on hybrid cloud environments (private + public cloud)
  • Migrate existing on-premises complex, multi-tier applications to hybrid cloud environments
  • Design, implement and control flow of data to and from hybrid cloud
  • Select the appropriate cloud services to design and deploy an application based on data, compute, database, or security requirements
  • Identify appropriate use of cloud native architecture best practices
  • Understand cost drivers and recommend cost control strategies in hybrid cloud environments
  • Designing and deploying enterprise-wide scalable operations across hybrid cloud environments
  • Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies in hybrid cloud environments
  • Understand, implement, and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation
  • Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems across hybrid cloud environments
  • Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes

Skills, Experience:

  • Exposure to SDLC and the software development process
  • A minimum of 5 years working with automation and CI/CD systems
  • A minimum of 5 years experience working with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet
  • Experience with development tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Concourse, Git, Jira and Spinnaker
  • Experience with OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience with large scale data center operations
  • Experience with TCP/IP networking
  • Experience with build systems and tools (make, ant, maven, or similar)
  • Experience in a large scale devops environment
  • Familiarity with creating and managing artifact repositories
  • Two or more years hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud architecture on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenStack or VMware
  • One or more years of hands-on experience designing available, cost efficient, fault tolerant, and scalable distributed systems on public cloud
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one high-level programming language
  • Ability to evaluate cloud application requirements and make architectural recommendations for implementing, deploying and provisioning applications on AWS
  • Ability to identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on a private or public cloud platform
  • Experience with deploying hybrid systems with on-premises and public cloud components
  • Experience in automation and testing via scripting/programming
  • Able to provide best practices guidance on the architectural design principles across multiple applications, projects or the enterprise
  • Experience provisioning, operating and maintaining systems running on AWS
  • Understanding of agile and other development processes and methodologies
  • Understanding of common public cloud services, uses, and basic architecture best practices
  • Experience designing cloud native applications written for public cloud services such as: Compute, Storage, Network, Database, Messaging, Caching, Security, Access and Identity Management
