MiQ is looking for an Agency Executive to join the UK Sales Team. The successful candidate will be a highly-driven, self-motivated individual with good sales and interpersonal skills that is success-orientated and passionate about the programmatic and digital industry.

You will be expected to support a team on a portfolio of agencies to help drive revenue through this portfolio. As the department, and business, are growing rapidly there is scope for you to really make this role your own.


Your main responsibilities will include:

Delivering Numbers

  • Identify and build relationships with decision makers within your assigned agencies
  • Identify, create and deliver solutions that meet client and internal needs
  • Utilise a budget to engage with your client portfolio regularly
  • Close and retain campaigns from your portfolio of agencies
  • Support the wider team with proposal creation
  • Track and regularly update pipeline and opportunities

Planning & Organising

  • Actively scan the horizon and identify opportunities and gaps in the market
  • Balance between short and long term wins to maintain an even pace/growth
  • Distinguish between the least and most promising leads and focus efforts accordingly
  • Think of original and creative ideas for client entertainment


  • Manage upwards, keep senior stakeholders up-to-date, and keep all parties in the know
  • Actively listen to client to understand needs. Adapt communication style to lead pitch differently based on who’s in the room
  • Work closely with colleagues across client services, trading, analytics and Product teams to ensure clients goals are met

Persuading & Influencing

  • Act as a “trusted advisor” to clients; clients reach out to you as a sounding board
  • Understand and leverage what drives clients, to deepen the relationship
  • Build credibility by educating clients on new things, broadening their perspective

Product Knowledge

  • Utilize industry and competitor knowledge to position MiQ and successfully challenge competitor offers
  • Able to propose creative solutions for clients on the fly
  • Consistently articulate product position strategies and key selling messages


  • Experience in digital sales
  • Competent in the programmatic buying process
  • Knowledge of industry landscape and key stakeholders
  • Relationships with digital planning/buying contacts across agency landscape
  • Confident talking to agency holding groups
  • Commercially savvy and confident in forecasting numbers


  • Eagerness to work in a highly collaborative and fast paced environment
  • Tenacious, proactive and resilient manner to new business
  • Excellent organisation and time keeping skills, able to prioritise to meet deadlines
