MiQ has a team of 700 talented individuals located in 18 offices globally. Connecting the team to each other and communicating key information is vital to our long term sustainable growth. Within this agile, fast-paced environment, we are looking for a communications manager who will use their understanding of internal communications practices and plans to support employee engagement. The person will work alongside our internal teams and executive board to develop communication strategies and compelling narratives, activating across multiple channels. 

The role will be part of the global marketing team and report into the Global Head, Corporate Marketing.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

In the role you will be accountable for, but not limited to, the following:   

  • Delivery 
    • Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior leaders that is aligned with business goals
    • Create monthly and quarterly reports on effectiveness of internal communications and the engagement of MiQers to help inform future strategies and approaches
    • Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and create recommendations that can be presented to the senior leadership teams
    • Manage the internal communications roadmap, working with key stakeholders in the business to schedule and plan future communications
    • Handle the internal communication crisis management process. Be available for rapid response that may fall outside of the core working hours
    • Write and publish content that informs, educates, inspires and connects across the range of internal communications channels 
    • Accomplishing tasks on time and to a high quality, managing different deadlines and priorities
  • Project Management 
    • Translate ideas to the creative team for compelling and engaging communication
    • Staying focused and contributing to projects. Organizing stakeholders and multiple milestones
  • Internal Collaboration 
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal teams/stakeholders (including the People team, Inclusion and Diversity team, and the Product team) to make sure every internal communications opportunity is maximized
    • Assist in the organization of Board level all-hands and MiQ Ignite (annual general meeting) content and communication 
    • Working with internal stakeholders, building relationships and working across differences to find solutions
  • Communication 
    • Advise senior executives of developments throughout the organization, either face-to-face or through regular written communication
    • Crisp and clear communication to external partners/clients or internal stakeholders; flexing communication style to persuade others and influence positive outcomes 
  • Innovation 
    • Use data and analytics to inform communication best practices
    • Acting with curiosity. Finds new and better ways of working, then applies or implements solutions to unarticulated needs, new or existing market requirements. Open to receiving and trying new ideas, processes or ways of working.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills 
  • Strong speaking skills as you are likely to be called on to give presentations to staff. 
  • Good relationship-building skills and the confidence to liaise with senior leaders. 
  • Previous experience in  Ad Tech or MarTech space
  • Creative skills for compelling and engaging communication methods
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years’ experience
