THE ROLE

Mint House is looking for a Sales Group Coordinator to partner and assist with client coordination for our Nashville properties, and as assigned additional markets as well.  This Sales Coordinator requires extensive communication skills to assist with all group and event business, demonstrating composure handling multiple requests, and can jump in to pull together time sensitive requests. The role is expected to be based in Nashville, TN with onsite responsibilities and focus on Groups in multiple locations both in Nashville and remote for other properties in the portfolio. 

AT MINT HOUSE YOU WILL

  • Independently coordinate reservations, events, billing and amenities while representing Mint House in a friendly and professional manner for all group activities. 
  • Once group agreements are executed, be the clients’ single point of contact, and liaison for coordinating all on site logistics including but not limited to liaising with client, ops team, reservations, accounting, 3rd party vendors.
  • Develops and distributes comprehensive group resumes and banquet event orders to Market Leadership to facilitate seamless event execution and guest services.
  • Collaborates closely with the front desk team to verify the accuracy of reservations for groups and events, ensuring all details are meticulously organized.
  • Assist with group pre-arrival details and coordinate with our property operations and corporate teams. 
  • Coordinate and conduct in-person tours on behalf of the Sr Sales Manager for multiple locations.
  • Service all contracted groups from once a group/event is booked through guest arrival, and final billing.
  • Utilize CRM for contact management and all group sales activities tracking and ensure all record keeping is timely and accurate. 
  • Support development of promotional materials, such as brochures, flyers, and other advertising materials.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and feedback in a timely manner
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the hotel's amenities, services, and policies to effectively assist guests with any inquiries or requests they may have.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience or event planning, with a proven track record of success in event services or sales coordination. 
  • Strong communication skills are required to propose clear and achievable paths forward when managing multiple requests, complemented by strong phone presence and etiquette to effectively handle and prioritize client interactions.
  • Comfortable solving problems quickly in a calm professional manner.
  • Your vibe is making it happen, whether this means joining on tours and site visits, coordinating on property with our operations staff, engaging with hotel ownership, or unleashing your creativity on special projects and collateral.
  • Hyper organized to manage multiple groups at a time - entering group blocks and assisting with contracts; strong ability to multitask!
  • Proficient with Google workplace and would consider yourself tech-savvy to learn concepts or quickly; preferred experience in Salesforce or database management.

  • Based in Nashville, TN, this role involves regular travel to various properties within the portfolio, both locally and remotely, to oversee onsite responsibilities, support sales efforts, and ensure exceptional guest experiences and event execution across multiple locations.

Compensation Range: $55,000 - $65,000
