About the role
Reporting into the Director of Regional Operations, the Market Lead is responsible for overall management and operation of our Downtown Minneapolis property including profitability, guest experience, quality, and overall cleanliness and maintenance of the property. Our Market Leads are passionate about delivering an exceptional experience and lead a team to establish a friendly, service-oriented approach to all guests.
What You'll Do
Understand and practice local and state regulations pertaining to short term rentals, ensuring compliance with DOL, DHEC and Fair Housing laws
Daily support and motivate your local team to deliver unrivaled guest experiences
Communicate with the corporate team regarding product/process needs and setting strategies
Be available 24/7 to respond to guest emergencies and direct staff
Lead on the ground coordination with laundry, maintenance, and housekeeping vendors as well as staying up to date with stock management
Use modern electronic hotel management software and chat apps to communicate with Guest Agents and supervise operations
Manage P&L and serve as the onsite sales manager providing on-site tours for medium and long term stays
You should have
Must have 3-5 years of experience overseeing a high-end hotel or extended stay
Hands-on management style to lead operations, develop rhythms to grow the Minneapolis market, and have an earnest attitude
Process-oriented skill sets to successfully manage vendor relationships i.e housekeeping, linen/laundry, maintenance, etc.
Experience recruiting and on-boarding new employees to scale an elite team
Confident analytical decision-maker with 3rd party vendors who can adapt to constantly changing environments
Manage the inventory for all key systems within the market including keypads, locks, key access boxes, etc.
