The senior analyst is crucial in leading consulting projects from leads probing to content delivering. The role is key to enhance Mintel consulting capabilities and maintain client relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with commercial team in China on consulting leads to understand the client business questions, probe research needs, and provide highly relevant consulting solutions
  • Independently lead consulting projects on report writing, project management (including agency management, if applicable), project-related communication internally and externally and final debrief presentations
  • Take a lead role in trends curation and activation projects by turning Consumer and Innovation Trends into actionable directions and ideas
  • Proactively build and maintain good relationship for selected key consulting clients
  • Offer coaching to junior analyst and support to other members of the CSI team on projects

Experience and Personality Traits:

  • Has strong business acumen and able to probe project needs in client communications
  • Demonstrates strong ownership and proactively seeks for solutions independently
  • Capable of generating in-depth insights and presenting/sharing findings
  • Communicates well across multi-functional team and gives coaching to junior team members
  • Fills with curiosity and eager to dig out the reasons behind phenomena.
  • Familiar of market research methodology (qualitative and quantitative) and common research approaches

Requirements:

  • University Degree or above
  • 3~5 years of market research experience in Consumer Goods sectors
  • In-house consumer research experience is preferred
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese
