Minerva Analytics, the latest team to emerge from Cogo’s proven incubator model, is seeking a Content Strategy Lead to join our team. Using Cogo’s extensive data warehouse, the Minerva team is building communities of users on the internet through a combination of rapid-development web property tools, scalable user acquisition, and extensive competitive and performance analysis. At our core we are a media company that employs data-driven, analytical methodologies to create profitable web businesses.

About the role:

We’re seeking a Content Strategy Lead to help lead our content strategy across our mature and new media brands in various different markets. An ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker who loves to collaborate with multiple teams, is detail-oriented and works well in entrepreneurial environments. We’re a small team that is looking to expand our content team to make best in class media products.

What you will do:

  • Plan and execute on the content roadmap each quarter and communicate expectations to the team

  • Partner with members of our Product teams to understand the needs and expectations for each product’s content needs

  • Brainstorm new ideas and strategies for effective content

  • Research markets and industries to create content that is innovative and original as well as stay up to date on available tools

  • Ensure consistent messaging across all products and Minerva branding

  • Write website, blog and email content for some Minerva products

  • Develop copy on a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (such as the website, blogs, articles, and social media)

  • Create eye-catching and innovative email headlines and website content

  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to release content on a regular basis 

  • Help with company brand content writing (Minerva blog, Instagram, Company website) 

  • Manage content resources and budget


  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field preferred

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional writing experience, preferably on websites or in the media space

  • Leadership experience with content, design or other relevant field

  • Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO

  • Portfolio of published work

  • Experience writing blogs, newsletters, articles etc. 

  • Excellent grammar and writing skills

  • Self-directed and able to prioritize content releases

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
