About the Role

As a Marketing Analyst at Mindvalley, your primary objective is to leverage data-driven insights to optimize lead generation, enhance user engagement, and drive conversion rates across multiple channels within the Mindvalley ecosystem. The role is pivotal in analyzing the marketing performance, identifying growth opportunities, and providing strategic recommendations to fuel our business expansion. This role demands a passion for data analysis, market research, and collaboration to drive impactful marketing initiatives and achieve measurable results.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and analyze organic and paid traffic performance, user behavior, and lead attribution to evaluate marketing effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Extract actionable insights from data analysis and translate findings into strategic recommendations for marketing campaigns, product development, and business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor marketing performance and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Data team to retrieve data from Mindvalley marketing data warehouse
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the channel mix to inform forecasting and resource allocation decisions.
  • Identify online customer habits and recommend strategies to broaden our audience reach.
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques to segment customer data, identify target audiences, and personalize marketing communications for maximum impact.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs within our industry 
  • Employ data visualization tools and techniques to present complex findings in a clear, understandable manner, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development and Customer Success, to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in analytics and visualisation tools (e.g., Thoughtspot, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads) and attribution.
  • Advanced skills in statistical analysis and predictive modeling
  • Proficiency in SQL (advanced) and experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis.

Soft Skills:

  • A balance of creative and analytical skills with the ability to proactively define research questions, identify appropriate methods, execute studies, and synthesize findings.
  • Strong storytelling and data synthesizing skills

  • Self-starter and problem solver who loves “getting in the weeds” with quantitative data (including survey data, public “big data” repositories, and internal logged data).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Highly organised with an attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above specializing in Marketing, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in quantitative analysis and marketing principles.
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytics role, business strategy, marketing, or equivalent
  • Experience leveraging data to deliver business value and present data-driven insights to business audiences
  • Experience analyzing large, multi-dimensional data sets and synthesizing insights into actionable solutions using advanced SQL skills
  • Hands-on experience leading end-to-end quantitative research studies is required. Some mixed methods research experience is preferred but not required
  • Prior experience working in marketing automation, paid social or SEO campaign management. Being able to drive a data-driven analysis of campaign performance is a plus
  • Comfortable with remote work and diverse environments.
