About the Role:

As a Senior Advertising Specialist at Mindvalley, you will shape the planning, strategy, and execution of advertising campaigns across our organization, driving scalable growth for a diverse range of Mindvalley products. In addition, the role carries both strategic leadership and mentorship responsibilities. With a strong foundation in digital advertising and a deep understanding of industry trends, you will lead by example, providing guidance to our advertising team and fostering an environment of continuous improvement. 

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategy Ownership
    • Take a leadership role in driving the planning, strategy, and execution of advertising campaigns across the company, providing mentorship and guidance to the advertising team.
    • Serve as the key stakeholder in scaling the growth of Mindvalley's diverse products profitably, overseeing collaboration with internal teams, external agencies, and freelancers.
  • Research and Innovation:
    • Stay updated on the latest developments and tools in the fast-paced ad tech landscape, evaluating their potential impact on Mindvalley's advertising ecosystem.
    • Apply a growth mindset to prioritize impactful ideas from research, execute swiftly, and share insights with the team to drive continuous improvement.
  • Advertising Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and lead the implementation of advanced advertising strategies, including customer acquisition plans, demand generation, and remarketing campaigns across various advertising channels such as search, paid social, video, and mobile advertising.
    • Apply principles of marketing psychology to advertising campaigns, ensuring that advertising creatives resonate effectively with the target audience.
  • Collaboration and Partnership:
    • Foster strong collaborations with external ad agencies, aligning strategies, and achieving performance goals. Serve as the primary liaison with agency partners, ensuring seamless coordination.
    • Provide strategic inputs and oversee experiments to enhance the quality and impact of Mindvalley's advertising creatives across all platforms.
  • Performance Measurement and Optimization:
    • Utilize advanced tracking and analytics tools, including ad dashboards, to measure campaign performance and deliver insights to the management team.
    • Lead the continuous optimization of ad campaigns for key performance indicators (KPIs) such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Mentorship and Team Development:
    • Act as a mentor to junior Advertising Specialists, guiding their professional growth and development within the team.
    • Share knowledge and best practices, promoting a culture of learning and improvement.

Technical Competencies:

  • Digital Advertising Expertise: Proficiency in various digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, YouTube Ads, and others, with a deep understanding of their features, best practices, and optimization techniques.
  • Data Analysis and Analytics: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex campaign data, measure performance, and derive actionable insights to improve advertising strategies and ROI.
  • Audience Segmentation and Targeting: Ability to identify and define target audiences effectively, using advanced audience segmentation strategies to optimize ad campaigns for specific demographics and behaviors.
  • Ad Creative Development: A creative eye for designing and optimizing ad creatives, ensuring they are visually appealing, engaging, and aligned with the brand's messaging and objectives.
  • A/B Testing and Experimentation: Profound knowledge of A/B testing methodologies to conduct experiments and refine ad strategies based on data-driven results, continuously improving campaign performance.
  • Budget Management: Exceptional budget planning and management skills to allocate resources efficiently across various advertising channels and campaigns.
  • Ad Tech Proficiency: In-depth familiarity with the latest advertising technologies, tools, and automation platforms to streamline ad operations and enhance campaign efficiency.
  • Adherence to Industry Trends and Regulations: Stay updated on industry trends, changes in advertising regulations, and data privacy laws to ensure compliance and adapt advertising strategies accordingly.

Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising and campaign management, with a demonstrated track record of strategic leadership and mentorship.
  • Proven success in driving advertising campaigns to achieve business objectives at a senior level.
