We are looking to add a rockstar Lead Product Designer' to our team! As a Lead Product Designer, you are expected to own the design work across product streams, guide the work of other designers and work hands-on to ensure a clean, minimal and engaging user experience on our web and mobile application.

          Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with Product Managers, designers, engineers and QA to ensure high quality and timely delivery of features
  • Understanding and analyzing user and business requirements and converting them into design specs, task-flows, IAs and mock-ups
  • Work directly on the design of the product yourself, focusing especially on important projects
  • Tracking user engagement data, validating mock-ups with users and doing usability study for analyzing user experience and defining the UX strategy to continuously improve the user experience
  • Defining user persona and ensuring that the design team develops a strong user empathy
  • Working closely with a group of Designers and mentor them, provide feedback on their work, ensure a high degree of quality, plan sprints, and help them to grow
  • Advocate the importance of User Centered Design and mentoring designers on design process and deliverable
  • Maintain a very high standard of user experience

Ideal Candidate Should have

  • 5+ year experience in designing web/mobile applications (preferable B2B SaaS)
  • Preferably a master’s or bachelor’s degree in design
  • Very strong user empathy
  • Must be an expert and advocate of UCD methodology and Usability principles
  • Creative and data-driven
  • Proficient with creating information architecture, flow, story-boards, and wireframes
  • Exceptional visual design, typography, and user experience design skills
  • Experience with agile development processes and entrepreneurial attitude towards getting things done
  • Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
  • Hands on with tools like Balsamiq, Photoshop, and Illustrator for wireframing and design
  • Visual portfolio to showcase previous work is a must have
