Job Overview:

Business Analysts at Mindstream Interactive are part of a cross-disciplinary team responsible for crafting exceptional customer experiences. Driven by data and research, they know how to present solutions in a way that effectively communicates requirements, laying the groundwork for downstream working teams to support user experience solutions. They are team players, skilled client partners, and determine project success by collaborating closely with strategists, UX designers and developers.

What You'll Do:

We expect the person who accepts this role to be ready to jump into current projects, help to grow existing client relationships and fuel new business.

  • Capture, analyze, and organize requirements (Business, Stakeholders, UX, Technical, etc.)
  • Facilitate workshops to better understand business and user challenges
  • Provide competitive research and analysis to track and trend competitive landscape and positioning in the marketplace 
  • Build business cases through partner alignment around KPIs, then collecting, tracking communicating attainment
  • Familiarity with relational database concepts and data modeling
  • Independently identify opportunities for communication, process, or performance improvements
  • Document current state and future state process flows, functionality and/or requirements for systems, apps and websites
  • Perform gap analyses between current state and future state recommendations
  • Translate complex business requirements into minimum viable products (MVP) and/or marketable releases 
  • Create, own and manage epics, agile user stories and backlog
  • Coordinate and document test plans
  • Perform user acceptance testing on systems, apps and websites
  • Serve as a liaison between agency teams, developers and partner IT departments
  • Work independently with minimal direction including providing regular status updates on assigned activities

 

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with preference for Information Systems or Computer Science as field of study 
  • Demonstrated technical systems analysis or business process analysis through 2+ years in a business analyst role
  • Proven experience or certification with planning and working within agile methodologies and teams
  • Experience with various tools/platforms/integrations within the MarTech Landscape: CMS,ERP,CRM,DAM,PIM,CDP, etc.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Ability to quickly learn technical systems 
  •  Business acumen including a good sense of how customer facing applications can be utilized to improve business processes, user experiences, and grow revenue
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented and metric-intense environment
  • Exceptional consultative approach, understanding customer needs, documenting requirements, and solutioning to meet requirements
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, particularly in listening, asking probing questions, and conveying application functionality to users and business stakeholders
  • Commitment to deadlines and deliverables
  • Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office applications
