The job

You will be the key person responsible for overseeing the project management across our internal product and innovation teams. This will include supporting the teams with planning, prioritization, and communicating and reporting on progress as well as proactively looking for improvements to the way we build, collaborate and deliver great work together.

Stakeholder Management

  • Acts as a trusted advisor, using expert knowledge of MindGym’s vision and internal operations to help facilitate the seamless delivery of key outputs
  • Takes ownership in identifying and cultivating commercial opportunities for the product and innovation teams, while keeping stakeholders informed

Project Management

  • Using project management and CRM tools, build and manage project plans ensuring projects are properly resourced and deadlines are met and creates and manages both development and delivery bookings to ensure accuracy in their impact for commercial reporting
  • Acts as the central hub for the innovation and product team to ensure workstreams are properly resourced, and enable cross-functional alignment and collaboration through clear communication and careful planning
  • Following the feedback loop process for all sessions, ensuring that errors are investigated, and all stakeholders are communicated with

Teamwork

  • Take a profound interest in the well-being of all members of the Mind Gym family
  • Coaches and oversees other team members across all projects and programmes, ensuring all KPIs are met and any performance concerns are shared with relevant managers
  • With a focus on continuous improvement, spots opportunities for more effective ways of working flags not only problems but also recommended solutions to team leads

 

About you

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, possess strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. They will be a keen problem solver who is detail-oriented, thorough, and outcome focused. If you can learn and adapt quickly to a changing environment, then we want to hear from you.

Essential

  • Extensive experience independently managing cross-functional projects
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to form strong relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional partners
  • Knowledge and prior experience working with project management tools e.g. Hive, Basecamp, or similar
  • Worked with Articulate Storyline, Rise or other online learning tools
  • Knowledge of web-based accessibility standards
  • Have experience in and an appetite for working in an environment that is growth-oriented, fast-moving and continuously evolving

Desirable

  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology for product development and improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Strong desire and keen interest to constantly be learning
  • Understanding of learning & development industry, instructional design
  • Experience working with and managing third party vendor and freelancer contracts (e.g. graphic designers, instructional designers, internships, other)
