As a learning & development business partner, you will be an integral part of the organization by ensuring that the company invests and provides the tools to ensure continuous development for our employees. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with department leaders and team leads to assess the training and development needs of employees linked to department & company objectives.
  • Execute an annual needs assessment strategy to analyze learning needs in alignment with key strategic goals.
  • Work with the HR team as well as the operational team leadership to design and deliver onboarding programs and initiatives to ensure full understanding of the business, organizational strategy, employee and management growth opportunities.
  • Assess, define and design the technical training stream.
  • Maintain, update and deliver the Performance Management Program.
  • Design company policies that reinforce diversity in the workplace, and proactively address all kinds of harassment.
  • Train hiring managers and HR staff on how to select, manage, evaluate and retain diverse employees. Measure and forecast diversity metrics.
  • Design and deliver e-learning courses and other trainings tailored to ensure the ongoing development of talent and managers.
  • Facilitate live learnings sessions, workshops & onboarding sessions.
  • Train the management team and develop their team members through career pathing & development plans.
  • Curate learning experiences for employees, focusing on digital tools, videos and online courses that can be used by all employees.
  • Seek out the latest research and best practices and identify key trends.
  • Implement an LMS, define content, scheduling and tracking attendance and completion.

What you’ll need to be successful:

Must Haves:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of working experience in a Learning & Development role
  • Working knowledge of instructional design principles and concepts
  • Proven ability to engage audiences in learning topics
  • Strong organizational, project management and communication skills
  • Excellent presentation/facilitation skills are necessary
  • Strong knowledge of common and emerging e-Learning tools
  • Fluent in English and French
