As a UX Designer for the Trust & Safety team you will help Build a "Trust & Safety System" that will allow the business owners to have full control and be able to review all content, validate users and apply compliance rules in a centralized location. This tool is meant to allow either the "Compliance and Audit" and/or "Legal: Trust & Safety" teams decision-making process to operate separately from product in order to and priorities the wants and needs of "Trust and Safety".

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with product managers and engineers to gather and evaluate user requirements to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, tables…) and user interface elements (e.g. menus, tabs, widgets, page navigation buttons, search fields…)
  • Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
  • Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
  • Develop UI/UX mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the CMS/ admin tools function
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback

What you'll need to be successful:

Must Haves: 

  • Experience in building Backoffice tools
  • BSc or training/certification in Design or relevant field
  • 3 – 5 years proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer
  • Portfolio of design projects
  • Experience utilizing prototyping tools
  • Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Axure or Figma
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
  • Team spirit: strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Excellent time-management skills

Nice to Haves:

  • Previous experience in security or CMS tools
  • Good understanding of user task facilitation
  • A passion for choice architecture and guiding users towards better decisions
  • Good knowledge of Axure RP
