Mill is all about answering a simple question: how can we prevent waste? Less waste can save time, money, energy, maybe even our planet. And there’s no better place to start than food. Food waste is one of the most solvable climate problems facing us today. Plus, our trash really stinks. It’s gross, heavy, and our least favorite chore. At Mill we are striving to build a better environment for all, as we take on climate and kitchen change.

    • Oversee outbound freight operations, ensuring that shipments are timely, cost-efficient, and meet customer or internal requirements.
    • Track shipments, identify potential delays, and proactively address any transit issues in coordination with logistics teams.
    • Support ERP (NetSuite) order and inventory management module implementation and ongoing optimization for order management, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
    • Oversee logistics and inventory management across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring consistency in processes and performance.
    • Support 3PL performance, identifying and resolving issues related to inventory discrepancies, order fulfillment, and shipping delays.
    • Ensure proper documentation is prepared for international shipments, including compliance with HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) codes, export/import documentation, and any required certifications.
    • Continuously assess and improve logistics, supply chain, and order management processes to enhance efficiency, drive down costs, and improve performance.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or operations with a strong focus on order management, inventory control, and system integrations.
    • Proven experience with NetSuite (or other ERP systems) implementation and ongoing management.
    • Extensive hands-on experience with customs procedures, HTS codes, outbound freight management, and reverse logistics.
    • Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and managing multiple warehouse locations.
    • Strong background in demand management, inventory forecasting, and PO management.
  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite tools.
    • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and integration with ERP systems.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
    • Spanish speaking proficiency a plus

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
