Job Overview

The Procurement Specialist takes full responsibility in the acquisition of goods and services necessary to equip Migo in fulfilling its large-scale and aggressive growth plans in Indonesia. The successful hire will establish, coordinate, and preserve strong relationships with key vendors and strategic partners to ensure that requirements and standards are met and maintained. This role is key in understanding the unique needs of internal stakeholders – encompassing technical and commercial requirements – and communicating it to external providers ensuring accuracy, cost-efficiency, compliance and timely service delivery.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify, understand, and anticipate the needs of internal stakeholders to support the implementation of global procurement standards aligned with the company’s operational needs
  • Plan, organize, and control end-to-end execution of procurement processes – from needs gathering to closing – ensuring completeness and compliance
  • Maximize established relationships with vendors in the IT and Telco industries to carry out strategic plans as needed by the organization and its stakeholders
  • Negotiate for terms and arrangements favorable to business’ success while maintaining high-quality products, cost-effective deals, and time-efficient services
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal standards and procedures by keeping abreast of the latest market trends and industry best practices in both local and international landscapes

 

Qualifications

  • 5 years’ cumulative experience in different procurement functions, preferably in Telco or IT industry; background in the fields of Finance and Accounting is a plus
  • Thorough experience in connecting and building relationships with local and global vendors in different industries, including IT and Telco
  • Proven track record in carrying out successful negotiation strategies; creating mutually-beneficial agreements while maintaining high integrity
  • Exceptional vendor and stakeholder management skills; is meticulous and highly-organized
  • Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds in both verbal and written forms
