About Mighty:

Mighty is using technology to solve one of the most important and overlooked challenges of our time: the steep obstacles faced by accident victims and the people supporting them to achieve medical recovery, financial security, and legal justice. We reject society’s stigma around personal injury and see a service that, when done well, delivers justice for millions of ordinary people who could not otherwise afford it. Fresh off our 2021 Series B from a top-tier VC, we’re building innovative solutions at the intersection of legal, financial, and health tech for the injured and everyone who supports them.

Mighty is looking for a Principal Product Manager to help define, build from scratch, and launch our new consumer-facing software product. This role will report to the VP of Product and will join a growing product team with opportunity for high impact. In this role, you will own the vision, roadmap, features, and execution for new capabilities that will help our end users: accident victims in need of care.

This is a strategic role impacting the lives of our users, the success of our partners and customers, and the direction of our business.

This role will:

  • Create and own our consumer-facing product.
  • Engage with customers, partners, Mighty’s teams, and 3rd party technology vendors to forge a vision and roadmap that identifies, prioritizes, and creatively solves the highest priority problems/opportunities for users and Mighty.
  • Partner with UX design, engineering, services, and marketing teams to plan, design, build, launch, measure, and iterate features to fulfill the roadmap and its goals.
  • Directly own everything from OKRs and high level requirements to user stories and daily engagement with the engineering team.
  • Combine mastery of quantitative and qualitative data with learned judgement, instinct, and pragmatism to make the best decisions possible in any given circumstance, and then know when to change those decisions.

The candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of product experience with sophisticated consumer services and software (e.g. medical patient portals), in both start-ups and larger organizations.
  • Passion for learning, getting to the core insights, collaborating, innovating, and creating.
  • Deep empathy for our clients and a desire to help them.
  • Comfort with change, uncertainty, and ambiguity.
  • Expertise in consumer user research—ranging from scrappy to best-in-class processes.
  • Excellent skills for capturing, analyzing, and applying quantitative and qualitative data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team focus—cares about teammates, values collaboration and input, picks up the trash, and can commit to a direction with which they disagree.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Full Benefits - health, vision, and dental, 401(k) with company contribution
  • Flexible paid time off - take time when you need it
  • Learning and Development opportunities
  • And more!

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor required by law to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Identifying yourself as an individual with a disability is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer will be maintained confidentially and not be seen by selecting officials or anyone else involved in making personnel decisions. Completing the form will not negatively impact you in any way, regardless of whether you have self-identified in the past.
